The term “femininity” can, be an “ick” for some because of toxic and even shallow associations and assumptions people have come to make with it.
Jamali, beautiful or feminine qualities are about more than pink, being a woman or behaving in a certain way.
It can best be understood through polarity, the Jalali, or masculine names of Allah and vice versa.
However, don’t think in terms of “superior” or “inferior,” just different.
This is also not about biology, or men versus women. It's an innate part of all to be harmonized with the masculine names of Allah, not shunned.
For instance, beyond belief systems, or BS, what inclines many to love The Prophet’s ﷺ is his balance of polarities in his character.
This character of the sunnah, or prophet, includes but is not limited to religions. It is a way of life and of being.
Jesus and Joseph are archetypes for the more jamaal (beautiful) attributes of Allah, Prophet Moses (Allah be pleased with them all) was a manifestation of jalaal qualities (rigorous). Some seek the more jalal knowledge of God others strive for jamaal, encompassing, loving mercy of Allah. Muhammad,ﷺ kamaal, embodied both attributes of Allah, making his soul the goal.
The feminine and masculine each have their place in the cycle of life. “It’s not permitted for the Sun to catch up with the moon nor can the Night outstrip the day: Each swims along in its orbit” (Quran, Ya-Sin 36:40).
Women recharge through feminine energy generated through play, alone time, dancing, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), rest and most of all sisterhood. It is an absolute necessity to thrive and certainly survive. There is an interdependent, playful, and noncompetitive spirit in femininity.
Some other characteristics include:
Multiplicity/abundance- the most successful people have women praying for them.
